This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for July 03, 2009:
I started thinking "Id NEVER do that".... and then well I already do.
"Mom! She wont let me on the computer!"
"But she said something first..."
"But hes not being fair.... it MY turn!"
And I get to deal with it. Sigh
And as much as I say that I listen to both sides... and try my best to be fair, try to make the both sides come to an agreement on their own, try to make it a win/win situation.. it doesn always work that way. (I am after all divorced) I also know for experiance that I tend to judge things emotionally. I would not want to be a judge (in a legal setting) for that very reason. I cannot emotionaly detach very well. I know that to start. When I am placed in a situation where I have to make I judgement I do so to the best of my ability at the time. BUt I would usually prefer someone else be there.

Help

How about, “she's looking at me!”, ” touched my arm!”, “said a BAD WORD!!”, my 3 girls made me think plenty of bad words. Some of them were,” I swore I'd never do this to my kids”, ” I sound just like my Mother”, “I'm going to go screaming, barking mad”. Today, my daughter was dismayed to hear her 4-yr old son tell me, ” MeMe, you look like a cow and you look like an old lady”, he then turned to his Mom, 27yrs old and offered, ” Mama, you look like a real old lady too.” All in the sweetest possible way. She took her hands down from her face and said ” Joey, Mommy was young until there was you, you have made Mommy an old lady.” I was astonished to hear my Mother coming out of my Daughter's mouth. Who's to judge how many thousands of years this has happened, over and over and over…….
LOL I dont know how many times that has happened… I open my mouth..and then look around for my mother.
